The Housing & Development Board (HDB) has awarded Allgreen Properties & Kerry Properties Pasir Ris white site. The two developers owned by Malaysian tycoon Robert Kuok had joint venture and won the highest bid of $700 million, which translated to $684.48 per square foot per plot ratio.
The other 2 bidders are Laguna Garden and Far East Commercial Trustee which both belong to Far East Organization that came up second place of $677.78 million, which worked out to $662.75 psf ppr.
Third bidder is from the Singapore Press Holdings and Kajima Development.
HDB mentioned the transformation in the estate whereby the upcoming development will be comprising a commercial and residential that integrated with a bus interchange, a polyclinic and a town plaza. These will offer seamless connection to public transport services and amenities for residents. The completed development will also serve as a community focal point.
